We are delighted to announce that our International President, Tim Boyd is to visit Scotland as part of his forthcoming European Tour.

On 14th June from 12 noon to 4 pm Tim Boyd will meet and talk to our membership.

This event takes place at the Arthur Conan Doyle Centre, 25 Palmerston Place, EH12 5AP.

It is hoped that all members will make the effort to attend this very special event!

AGM and Talk followed by group discussion

Our AGM is to take place on Saturday 1st June at 2.30pm at the Arthur Conan Doyle Centre, 25 Palmerston Place, EH12 5AP.

This is a followed by a talk by our Organising Secretary, Gary Kidgell entitled 'THE SPIRITUAL PATH.'

Theosophical teachings symbolically depict the spiritual path as a mountainous ascent — the mountain of initiation. This presentation considers the challenges and rewards associated with traversing what H.P. Blavatsky describes as ‘a road, steep and thorny, beset with perils of every kind, but yet a road, and it leads to the very heart of the Universe.’ The Soul or higher Self undertakes many incarnations upon the Wheel of Rebirth as it seeks to unfold its symbolic lotus petals whilst fashioning a human personality capable of fully realising its intent. By adopting a comparative approach, drawing on Theosophical and other spiritual teachings, Gary shall outline a series of tried and tested disciplines and practices that can enable one to accelerate one’s psycho-spiritual growth thereby effecting spiritual transformation for the benefit of all. 

After Gary's talk, members will be invited to form small groups as a means of discusing both the challenges and rewards of the Path and one's personal experience here. The results of these will then be shared with all in attendance.

Prior to the AGM, members will be invited to view the Alex Johnston Library, including recent exciting additions to its content.
